With well-equipped communal kitchens and a sprawling garden, we felt right at home while exploring the breathtaking trails of Victoria Conservation Park just a stone's throw away. The staff, particularly Glen, provided invaluable local insights that enhanced our adventures, including arranging gold-panning equipment for my daughters, making our stay even more memorable. A quiet wing provided the perfect haven after a day of hiking; we loved unwinding in the cozy common areas and reminiscing about our outdoor escapades. If you're seeking a blend of comfort, charm, and an outdoor adventure hub, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem on New Zealand's West Coast.
